The integrated management system is quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety management in a single system, taking advantage of the interoperability of the same elements. Integrated: i.e. the same requirements are regulated by the company in a single procedure covering all three areas.
The requirements of the integrated management system come from a variety of specifications, the three most common standards:
• ISO 9001:2015: Quality management systems
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems
• MSZ 28001:2008 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (BS OHSAS 18001)
The combined, integrated application requires special deployment and operation methods. The requirements of standards in all three areas must be met, while common elements should be developed only once.
The efficient functioning of the integrated management system as described in the system documentation is examined by designated specialists in an audit.
